lavender french 75 mocktail
French 75’s are a classic, sexy drink that feels fancy but not too complicated. The mix of gin and bubbly champagne is great for making any moment a little more special.
But, what I most like about this drink is that it is easily customizable to be sober-friendly. I enjoy making drinks at home or when I’m hosting, but I do have times where I want to take a break from alcohol or have friends who don’t drink. So no one feels left out, I like to create drinks that everyone can enjoy no matter their alcohol preference, and the French 75 is one that is a hit every time.
In this blog, I share how I make my lavender French 75 mocktail that tastes so good, you won’t miss the alcohol.
About the Lavender French 75 Mocktail recipe
I’ve shared my love for this drink in a cocktail version of this recipe on the blog already, but what I like about this drink is how simple it is.
This recipe is made with just a few ingredients…
Lemon juice
Fresh squeezed is going to hit better every time, but bottled works fine for this recipe.Lavender simple syrup (I use DaVinci Gourmet Lavender Syrup)
The floral notes from the lavender always add a subtle sophistication and depth to any cocktail/mocktail. It’s light but flavorful, with the right amount of sweet to balance out the citrus from the lemon juice.
Non-alcoholic gin
I use GINish, but Ritual is a good one too! I like to grab my non-alcoholic spirits from my local non-alcoholic bottle shop in Houston (they ship if you want to shop a small business!), but I’ve also seen the Ritual brand in Spec’s and Total Wine.Non-alcoholic sparkling wine
I use Good Twin, but Surly is good too! I’ve found that for non-alcoholic wines, many I’ve tried are frankly - not good. But for the ones that are, they all have something in common - bubbles. The non-alcoholic sparkling wines I’ve tried have been delicious, but Good Twin and Surly have been the brands I gravitate towards the most (and are easiest to find in my local stores).
A note about the recipe
Before we dive into the recipe, I want to take moment to share something important: while I have a dietician who helps with my personal health and wellness goals, I am not one myself. Because of this, I don’t provide detailed nutrition facts or count calories for my recipes. I hope you can understand - it’s important for me to stay within my lane as a creator and make it known that I’m not a trained professional in this field.
That said, I do my best to offer rough estimates of serving sizes. However, these are based on how I enjoy these recipes and it may not align perfectly with your preferences or needs. If precise nutritional information is essential to you, trust, I understand! I’ll always include measurements for all the ingredients, so you’re welcome to calculate the details that matter most to you.
